The newly developed soft start and stop controller (ROT1PROG-PWM) is now available as an option for use with the RAK and BIG RAK azimuth rotators.
This allows a gradual ramp up in speed when starting and then a gradual slow down when stopping. This is very useful when large antennas are used on the rotator as it reduces the strain caused by the momentum of the antenna.
