This new product is the same rotator mechanically, but the controller has additional programmable soft start and stop functions.
This allows a gradual ramp up in speed when starting and then a gradual slow down when stopping. This is very useful when large antennas are used on the rotator as it reduces the strain caused by the momentum of the antenna.
