This new product is the same rotator mechanically, but the controller has additional programmable soft start and stop functions.
This allows a gradual ramp up in speed when starting and then a gradual slow down when stopping. This is very useful when large antennas are used on the rotator as it reduces the strain caused by the momentum of the antenna.

This is the largest, heaviest duty AZ rotator made by Spid - Note that it will not fit in a normal Versatower head-unit.
If you have more 'normal' needs, then perhaps the Spid RAK Azimuth model which does fit a Versatower would suit.
